Building the Future with Principle

Three decades at the intersection of technology, governance, and sound money.

From architecting internet infrastructure for global airlines to representing 3,000 neighbors in the New Hampshire House, I have pursued one consistent mission: expanding human freedom through innovation.

The Mind of George

How a software architect approaches politics, philosophy, and the human condition.

Systems Thinking

"I don't see isolated problems. I see interconnected systems. Whether debugging code or drafting legislation, the approach is the same: trace the dependencies, understand the inputs, model the outputs. Government is just a very poorly optimized system waiting for refactoring."

First Principles

"The Constitution isn't a suggestion box. It's a requirements document. When I read 'No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process,' I don't see ambiguity. I see a test case that 90% of modern legislation fails."

Recreational Politics

"I've been active in what I call 'recreational politics' for two decades. Not because I need the job, but because liberty is the ultimate team sport. The scoreboard is measured in lives improved, dollars kept, and choices preserved."

The Builder's Ethic

"Code either runs or it doesn't. Markets either clear or they don't. At NetMasters, I personally built FastNet Tools that shipped with Borland Delphi—enabling millions of developers to internet-enable applications. I know what scalable architecture looks like. Bitcoin is the first monetary system with proper engineering."

Bitcoin is Rearden Steel. It's the hardest material—the hardest asset in the world to build an economic structure. Just as Rand argued that paper currency should be backed by gold, Bitcoin represents a new form of 'digital gold'—scarce, verifiable, and beyond the control of any central authority.

— Michael Saylor at the Atlas Society Gala 2022, quoting George's analogy

Core Values

The non-negotiable principles that guide decisions in code, commerce, and governance.

⚖️

Objective Law

Rules known in advance, applied equally, with no ex post facto legislation. The code of civilization.

🔐

Property Rights

The foundation of all other rights. "The only thing you can truly own is your memories and your Bitcoin."

🛡️

Sovereign Individual

Each person owns their body, their labor, and their choices. Children have constitutional rights too.

Sound Money

Money should be a predictable yardstick for value, not a rubber band manipulated by governments.

The Journey

From Pelham High School to the New Hampshire State House, via the early internet.

1986

Education & Early Career

Pelham High School, UNH Manchester, Sanford Vocational. Taught Internet Server Management at NH Community Technical College. The foundation of a lifetime of technical learning.

1994-1995

Serif & Brainstorm

VP Sales at Serif Inc., then Director of New Business Development at Brainstorm Technologies. Learned enterprise sales, product management, and how to translate technical capabilities into business value. Led initiatives that would inform my later entrepreneurial ventures.

1995

NetMasters & Borland Partnership

Founded NetMasters LLC as Chief Software Architect. Personally designed and built FastNet Tools—the Internet Integration Tools that shipped with Borland's Delphi and C++ Builder products. These tools enabled millions of developers to internet-enable their applications in minutes, establishing NetMasters as an integral part of the Borland developer community worldwide.

2007

Community Service Begins

Elected to Litchfield Board of Selectmen. National Grange Strategic Planning Task Force. Started the transition from technologist to public servant—while keeping the day job.

2010-2014

State Representative

Elected to NH House (Hillsborough 27, then 44). Co-sponsored HB 1531 (Victimless Crime Bill). Served on Legislative Administration and Petitions for Redress committees. Endorsed Ron Paul for President.

2011

Bitcoin Developer

Didn't just buy Bitcoin—built it. Started developing Bitcoin extension and agent software. Recognized immediately that Satoshi had solved the Byzantine Generals problem for money.

2012

Manchester Bitcoin Meetups

Weekly meetups at Strange Brew Tavern. 18+ consecutive weeks building the NH Bitcoin community. Welcomed Bitcoiners from Boston, Maine, Vermont, and beyond.

2016

Trump 2016: From Escalator to RNC

Present at Trump's campaign launch (June 2015), calming the crowd at NH headquarters as they waited for the announcement. As a liberty Republican who had backed Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012, Lambert became a key validator for Trump among libertarian-leaning voters. Organized 32 liberty Republicans for a 25-minute boardroom vetting session with Trump, drilling him on constitutional issues. Served as an Official Delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention. Assisted at nearly every Trump visit to New Hampshire during the primary campaign, acting as a bridge between the liberty movement and the Trump organization.

2017-2024

Continued Advocacy

NH Liberty Forum presenter. Multiple State Senate campaigns (2016 primary, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2022). Never stopped advocating for liberty, sound money, and constitutional governance.

2025

Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

New Hampshire becomes first state with Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (HB 1640). A vision 14 years in the making comes to fruition. The work continues.

Bitcoin & Sound Money

From 2011 developer to 2025 Strategic Reserve advocate.

Not Just an Adopter—A Builder

While most were asking "What is Bitcoin?" in 2011, I was developing extension and agent software for the network. My background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network architecture at NetMasters and FlightLookup gave me the lens to recognize what Satoshi had actually solved.

The Manchester Bitcoin meetups at Strange Brew Tavern weren't about trading—they were about building a community of people who understood that money could be different. Week after week, we gathered to discuss the technical, philosophical, and practical aspects of cryptocurrency.

Today, that work continues through Verae LLC and advocacy for New Hampshire's Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. The vision that started in 2011 is still unfolding.
